No Surprise Costs – Tariffs Covered in Shipping

Recent changes to U.S. import regulations have increased customs duties on many products entering the United States.

To make the ordering process as simple as possible, ProChaps includes an estimated U.S. shipping and import charge at checkout. Our goal is to help customers avoid unexpected customs fees after their order has shipped.​

Current U.S. Shipping & Import Charges:

 

Estimated flat rate: CAD $90.00 per shipment

​

This amount includes:

• Estimated U.S. import duties

• Customs processing

• Shipping from Canada to the United States

​

Because import regulations and shipping costs can change, this amount is reviewed regularly and may be updated when necessary.

 

We prepay the estimated customs charges whenever possible so your order can be delivered with fewer surprises. If there are any significant changes to U.S. import regulations before your order ships, we will contact you before processing your shipment.

Important to Know

• Tariffs are non-refundable.
  If you return your order, we’ll refund the product cost (≈ $270 USD in this example), but the shipping/tariff portion (≈ $40 USD) is non-refundable.

​

• Exchanges incur a new fee.
  Each new shipment into the U.S. is taxed separately, so an exchange will require another flat shipping/tariff fee (≈ $40 USD).
